Saw Lady In The Water at the theater that used to be on Siegen, which was mostly a black theater. My group was as white as it gets. Black people behind us were talking quite loudly at the movie, so my friend said in the whitest voice imaginable, "Stop talking, please." That stopped the talking for a short while before they simply could not contain themselves and began shouting at the movie again. My friend had to do it again. Entirely different culture. Our fault for going to their theater - not surprised it went out of business though since the white patrons were mostly driven off by that kind of behavior.
