Did the pay of Steele and Orgeron come out yet?

Would like to also see BH salary in comparison and atm not a position coach

Me wanting Haley gone has nothing to do with his personal life. I thank him for his special needs work in the Baton Rouge community, but that doesn't change my thoughts on him not earning his 400k salary

if he wants an admin position, then sure

If they do decide to add another on field position to all staffs, I'm sure Brick will be elevated once again (most likely coaching LBs). If for no other reason than I'm sure they don't want to pay him $400k to push paper.

Maybe he legitimately wanted to step back from coaching and stay in Baton Rouge.

Another theory could be that he wanted a few months off to spend time with his family so volunteered to take the admin job temporarily and will be added back later. Perhaps he's the "fourth defensive coach" Les slipped up and mentioned and not BDP.

Certainly a better option as a coach than Peveto. How we could let Peveto back on campus is still perplexing.

As much as I love to rag on Peveto, it is a little encouraging Mike Stoops wanted Peveto on his staff

I don't mind Brick making 400 grand as an administrative guy. That's his salary and our leaders gave it to him. Their fault not his. Would any if you turn it away in the same scenario? What does Kragthorpe make? Gotta be as much or more you'd think. He basically made the same move just different circumstances. If Brick stays his 400 grand can be earned on campus recruiting. He doesn't have to be the lead to make an impact. Kids and parents do like him even if he finishes 2nd a lot. Those kids he was chasing had 40-50 offers so #2 means he was doing something right. Him and O together can be very influential

Calling bullshite on the TAM spin. Sure they may not have "officially" offered but they wanted him without a doubt. They had insiders basically guaranteeing his arrival. Those guys weren't flying off the handle with no info. They wanted him and he'd rather be our intern over their DL coach #2. At least at this moment

I'm calling BS. He has had an offer since Chavis took the job.

A&M doesn't have any open coaching positions besides WR.

No room for Brick at the moment. We have a pretty good DL coach/recruiter that's also a former student.

Also one that most of the fan base wants gone. You are right there isn't a spot at the moment but that doesn't change the fact that your insiders were all but locked in on him going. Before the LSU hires it was waiting to see if he got the DC job and then immediately after we hired Steele and O they basically said it's a matter of time. At this point its Brick that is turning away TAM not the other way around. Now they may have gotten to the point where they are just moving on and I can buy that but its not because they just don't want him.

To his credit Luicci is the only one that said fairly early that Brick wasn't coming. Even he was trumping it up at first though. No way all of those insiders TAM guys trust were completely making shite up

There would have been room if Haley wanted to be there; Chavis would have made sure of that. He has too much trust with Brick for what he wants and needs.

Now, Chief is just going to have to lean on Terry Joseph and Terry Price to do the recruiting, scouting and game-planning. Which they're probably more than capable of doing.
