There was some not so great acting (first drunk step-dad comes to mind), but it really flowed well for being filmed over such a long period. The main character definitely got worse as time went on. But it did have a sense a reality to it, like it felt like a normal broken family's story. I liked it. Wasn't as good as I expected, but I think it was good.
