Your opinion most recent athletes that don't seem to get it and can't seem to avoid trouble. here's hoping this kid finally wakes up. Dorial Green-Beckham. I guess he'll enter the draft as a Missouri tiger since he never played at Oklahoma.

I don't think I'd put guys like Hernandez in this thread since they actually lived up to their potential but squandered it away soon after. Same with Gordon, who hasn't really even squandered it yet.

I hesitate to put Justin Blackmon on the list, but he might be a good candidate. Then there are basketball players like Sebastian Telfair and Tim Thomas who never progressed from what they did as high school juniors. Not legal trouble, but they definitely didn't get the difference between being a great pro and a great high school talent.

Ryan Leaf, Charles Rogers, Ruben Mateo, Jamarcus Russell, Brien Taylor, and Greg Oden off the top of my head. It's still early, but Hosmer and Moustakas both have a chance to be on that list as well.

Anytime you are nicknamed "Hot Plate", it's a good indication that you aren't working hard enough.

John Williams led LSU to the 1986 Final Four, was the 12th pick in the first round. Williams is #24.

Williams in the pros looked like this.
