Yeah I got that far from your info 
I was going to say you could try bayou teche guns in Arnaudville. They do really good work so long as you aren't in a rush to get it back. I'm not certain if they work on Savages but I can't really imagine that they wouldn't. Mike the owner is building me a custom 700 once I get all my parts in

I use to work for Mike when his business " Brazdas Top Guns" was in Lafayette . It occupied 1/2 of the Deano's Pizza bldg on Bertrand .... early 90's
I'm actually building a 20 VarTarg custom rifle right now , Lilja barrel, Jewell trigger, Manners stock, Mk4 scope
will post pics when finished
