LSU is nothing special except to LSU people. To anyone else we are no different then Miss. St. Ole Miss, Arkansas, or Missouri.. Once you learn this you will know that LSU is the hole grail of college football and not expect really good coaches who are happy where they are presently coaching to leave their job,to coach here.
Chief leaving and Steele being hired is more of a testament to Miles than it is LSU. LSU won a NC 2 years before Miles was hired and will won more whenever he gets fired as he's setting himself up to be.

yep then why was LSU down to it's 4th or 5th choice when Miles was hired? We'd just won a NC and had a stockpile of talent to compete for another. Good head coaches didn't come here then and Miles wasn't the excuse.
