I get the sentimental value this song has to you and not trying to down play it, but I don't think many stations/announcers would take the time to credit a songwriter that 99.9% of the public has never heard of... just the way it goes..
edit: And I have an Isbell "block" but it's a damn good song... I can't let my bias get in the way..
