quote:
Should I get my money back form the BS they did that obviously did not fix the issue yest? Or do I have to eat the money and charge it to the game?
Tell them you want your truck fixed or you want your money back. Take it up with the manager, skip the service writer.
BTW, what year and model truck?

tell them they did not fix the problem but changed parts- Tell them to fix the truck- when they do test drive before you pay this time.
Tell them you will pay for that repair less the labor on the previous repair and the markup on the previous parts- They should not profit from their mistake

2011 Ford F-150 Ecoboost. It's got known Intercooler issues with Moisture build up and misfires.
They gave me a quote today to install the moisture shield on the cooler, replace the plugs and the coil pack on cyl. 5. (They replaced 2 plugs and 2 packs yest.). Also to run an ECU flash. For a grand total of $1,080.
So $484 yest, and $1080 today. I'll be speaking to the manager Monday.
I would've been fine with $1,080 yesterday, but that wasn't the case
