The special teams regressed a lot under his "coaching", and we may be trying to figure out how to get Orgeron into the mix and keep things at 10 coaches on staff. Simple solution:

- Hire Shoop (or whoever Les opts to hire)
- Keep Brick
- Hire Orgeron
- Fire or demote or help find Peveto another job doing anything else.

Because he looks like a penis, and every football team needs at least one of those on staff.

So no special teams coach? That sounds like a great idea

Our return game is actually pretty dang good.

#2 nationally in kickoff return average and #22 nationally in punt return average.

However, our kicking game took a MAJOR step back. I agree he should find a new home, but we do need a ST coach. I think we could find another position coach to move to admin until NCAA expands coaching staff limits.

Because, for better or worse, Miles is probably the most loyal coach in modern college football. Peveto has been with him for years and Miles loves that.

Unfortunately, IMO that loyalty is problematic with Peveto, as everything he touches turns to shite.

Same question can be asked of Kragthorpe. A lot of fat/welfare cases on this staff.

Agree. You could replace Peveto with Ensminger though.

Having said that, if you move Peveto out, who is going to coach special teams.

Yeah. I mean, I don't know what the deal with that dude is, but his results when he's in charge just haven't been good.

LSU special teams have been asset for pretty much the entire Miles has been here and then this year???? Not so much.

It may be coincidence that this happened when Peveto arrived but if so, that man has some bad luck.

I think people are incorrectly attacking Peveto. other than the FG kickers sucking, no one has given one damn fact to prove he is not good at what he's doing.

a FG kicker exploding is not usually a coaches fault. it happens a lot at all levels of football. it's "mental"

Peveto did a good job with special teams this past year. The only problem we had was our kickers missing chip shots. Peveto was not the one out there kicking. I do have a problem with him not settling on one kicker and playing switch when them towards the end. You can tell the kickers were scared to screw up.
