Getting a 3 year old into game without ticket

I have a 3 year old son, who I plan on taking to the Griz game on Friday. He is going to be sitting on my lap, so I would prefer not to buy him a ticket. What is the age that they make kids have their own ticket?

I think he needs one not sure. I would call the box office

Any child over 2 needs his or her own airline ticket. If I had to guess, that would be a pretty uniform rule.

Well... the saints are kids 5 and under. No clue if the NBA has a different universal rule

From their website
quote:
Children?s Admission
Children two and under do not require a ticket for admission. However, in order for a child to have his or her own seat, a ticket is required.

Doubt this will happen. No offense but he's probably not good enough to play NBA basketball.
