Anything that lights the fire of competition under Jennings/Harris is fine with me.

Imagine Golson under Cam Cameron if he played like his freshmen season...

This is a no brainer to bring this guy in. Would instantly give me hope again in the Tigers.

how would he be eligible to play? he has already taken a redshirt year; so unless he graduated from ND and will be coming to LSU as a grad student, which seems unlikely since he was suspended from ND for cheating, where would his eligibility come from?

This dude is pretty bad but I guess he's an upgrade over Jennings. Can't say I'd be against this move.

Golson played in the game and completed six of 11 passes for 90 yards.

He should fit right in.

The reason he did not start in the bowl game against LSU was because he tends to turn the ball over...... a lot.

He would be in Miles doghouse after his first fumble/int in practice and would never see the field.

Don't dismiss him coming here until you ask yourself this question: Are we better off with him or without him? I say with him. Jennings doesn't have it and never will.Harris has no experience(thanks Les). I think a senior with experience would be a great asset until a permanent solution is found.

I'd rather see what Harris can do first...

I'd take Golston YESTERDAY. Besides the fact that he's a proven QB he is highly motivated and has scores to settle, monkeys to get off his back. Those are the best kinds of kids to take.

I think everyone here is desperate for a change at QB, so I'd gladly take Golston. The dude puts up big numbers at a 60% completion rate. That's way better than the crap we have to put up with right now.

Hopefully he can master Miles' incredibly convoluted playbook in such a short period of time.
