Roughing the kicker/punter question

What exactly constitutes roughing the kick/punter? And... what is the penalty? Does it result in the punting team getting a first down? or is the penalty tacked on the point the receiving team gets the ball?

It's just got to be pretty obvious.

When the core of the body is hit, it's usually roughing. That punt was not roughing. Refs made a good call.

it has two variations one is a five yarder and it's supposed to be accidental. like getting blocked in to the kicker/punter. the other is what you just saw which should have been a 15 yard automatic 1st down personal foul

Posted this a bunch, hitting kicking leg first is running, plant leg first is roughing.
