No. The point of the OP is it allowed Oregon in, which they would not have been under BCS. TCU didn't make this playoff and would have been ranked #5 if BCS was in existence. #3 Oregon (BCS) getting in is a validation of the playoffs. The #5 (BCS) #6 (playoffs) team getting shut out is moot as they would have been shut out under any scenario. This post was edited on 1/1 at 8:24 pm

No the point is the new system hasn't ended the controversy. It put OSU in instead of TCU. And we can see how that's turning out.

No. The point is the new system is better than the old system, and there were lots of people that said that would not be the case.

Count me in the camp that thinks tcu was one of the 4 best teams in the country this year. However,

1. Tcu and ohio state and Florida state are all playing different teams in different games. Nothing that happens today proves what you are saying.

2. Did you not watch Baylor and mich st earlier?

You didn't learn anything by watching Baylor today? This OSU game isn't over.

Big 12 needs a championship to be taken seriously. Only reason tcu isn't in is because they don't have a championship. They finished their season against Iowa state.

OSU curb stomped Wisconsin.
