I don't, you have to rely on the RNG, what supplies you find and who is sick/hurt, when you get raided and the outcome. The perfect build order is needed, use supplies on building something you think you need only to find out it's not.

You can't move items after you place them
When you have one member active it sometimes default to another one after an action is completed
It takes me 40 minutes to walk from the top floor to the bottom floor.
There is a glitch, if you get raided you can back out and start the day over until you didn't get raided.
You can't send more than one person scavenging, what if I want to send out a team.
The game has no tutorial, if I end the day and someone is sleeping on meds does it complete the cycle?
If you are doing an action when night comes it doesn't complete the action.
There is a lot wrong with this game.

Well that is a very different statement than what you said before.

It is heavily RNG paced.

I still disagree with the "one perfect build order" argument.

There isn't one. I've lost count of the number of games where I was pursuing one strategy that I was forced to abandon for the sake of getting my face punched in or winter coming in faster than I hoped.

And about half of your complaints are thought out gameplay choices. It's like you saying its "wrong" that properties have to be auctioned out if the person who landed on it doesn't want to buy. It's the rules of the damn game.

And a lot of what's left are preferences: you are complaining that you aren't fed everything in game. I like that. I hate how most games spoon feed you the rules of it. I like learning by trial and error. I like games that reward being observant and thinking things out (as long as the underlying assumptions are reasonable)

One game that does it to perfection (and is even more unforgiving of error than this one), is Don't Starve.

The only tutorial you get is "Hey, you don't look so good, you might want to eat something before night."

The bugs you have left may very well be fixed. Just because it's past v1.0 doesn't mean it has been abandoned. Just the last update they threw in another variable in that your shelter can now be one of two possibilities rather than just the one.

Oh, and as for the 40 minutes.....a lot of that can be negated by telling them to run.

And the rest can be negated by being able to multitask and intelligent placement.

You go to the water collector
*switch character*
You cook a meal
*switch back to first*
Collect the water
*switch to cook*
Eat a serving
*switch to first*
Go to stove to eat
*switch to cook*
Go to sleep

Etc

I've never been limited by time. Only by resources. The only time I have hit a time wall was from trying to squeeze in another round of water filtering before night (if you finish set up the 4 hour clock still runs through the night).
