I would definitely vote for Walker. I think he would be a solid President.....he is not afraid to take on unions, that's for damn sure.

I'll be right there with you. It is incomprehensible to me that 60% of any group of people would vote for HRC.

I think the GOP nominee will be someone not on the radar like Gov. Kasich out of Ohio or Scott Walker.

It's going to be Cruz.

If this becomes reality (it won't) it would be definitive proof that America has lost it's imagination, which might be the worst sin of all.
Clinton? Bush ? 320 million people and that's what we come up with?

I hope that both parties will have better candidates than these two. I have had enough of both families

He'll crush Clinton BTW
I suspect the democrats are praying for a cruz nomination.

Who are they NOT praying for? Who do they fear the most? Who makes them quake in their boots?

I suspect they know there is zero chance it will be Cruz, and thus save their prayers for when they need them - after the conventions.

Don't put too much stock into early polls.
We all thought that Hillary would walk away with the 2008 nomination and that Howard Dean would have beaten Kerry in 2004.
Hillary is a shitty campaigner and Bush suffers from serious foot in mouth disease and having an unpopular last name.
If any alternative to Bush appears viable, I see a bunch of people throwing in with that candidate after he intentionally pissed off his own party's base before even formally declaring his candidacy.

And if I started a thread "Rand Paul leading in recent poll" some liberal would post "The Democrats are praying for Paul to get the nomination."
And this guy would be on TV saying how much the Dems want Paul to be the nominee:
It's just the way it has always been. It's as predictable as a sports talk guy answering a question with 'no doubt about it....'

well there is a certain amount of game theory going on with the talking heads, especially if they are democratic operatives. And begala is from the inner clinton circle, so its double dubious.
But I know some democrats that are scared of paul. Cruz does little to appeal to non traditional republican voters, rand paul does. He is actually making a play for the youth and minority vote.

She led easily at this same point in time in 2006, but had nowhere near the numbers she has had in all of these early polls we have seen this time around, where she routinely scores 60+%.
In December of 2006 (the calendar equivalent of this month), there were six major Democratic nomination polls, and Clinton's numbers were (in chronological order):
Marist - 33%
Fox News - 33%
CNN - 37%
ABC/Washington Post - 39%
NBC/Wall St. Journal - 37%
Gallup - 33%
In the same six polls, also in chronological order, Obama had numbers of 12, 12, 15, 17, 18 and 20.
At the same point in time 8 yrs ago, Clinton was nowhere near the overwhelming Dem favorite she is today.
In the first quarter of 2007 (equivalent to the quarter we are about to enter), Obama raised an overall total of $25.8M for his campaign vs $26.0M for Clinton, and easily outdistanced her in terms of cash raised for the primary. A lot of people seem to have forgotten that Obama did not just come out of nowhere in the 2008 process. He was well in the game two years in advance.

Here's my prediction...the two that are being touted as front runners right now.
Will fade down the stretch and the nominees will be someone we haven't thought of.
Ever hear of Obama before he ran in 08?
Oh and it will be a cold day in hell before I ever consider voting for a fricking Clinton.

No way in Hell Hillary gets the nomination...her wing of the party (so called moderates) are dead and gone with this last election.
The far left wing owns, operates and dominates the DNC.
