Why is Oklahoma favored over Clemson?

They're 4 point favorites. Looking at their schedules, Clemson seems to have done better, and is ranked accordingly.

I would imagine some of it is due to Deshaun Watson not playing.
However, I'm not sure if Oklahoma was favored before Watson was scratched for the game.

Maybe its just me, but I find it annoying when people say stuff like this because their bet didn't go their way.
