Believe it or not, this might be the best bet I've seen. Join a small group study program. Meet one each week. Break a little more ice each time you're there. In one sense, they're already pre-screen just by virtue of them being there. You have to assume everybody there is at least interested in some type of self improvement. Pretty bright people in there. Even if you don't connect with that special someone, it's not a total loss. Better than sitting in front of a computer culling through desperados.
