Please cite what you know regarding the following:
- what are the families' opinions of the gesture?
- who paid for the funeral?
As for the family's opinions, I don't believe anyone has offered a solid link on the subject. I just think it is in poor taste to want to do it before the family comes into play. If the family called for it, it would be a different situation.
