Welcome. He is given a chance to compete and play. Good luck to him.

Well considering 115 schools had better qb play than us...he might be alright. We need a passing qb

I'll say it.

Weak arse camp arm at best. Hope he gets a great education and becomes a contributing member of society.

A 32 on his ACT will garner several thousand dollars in scholarship money.

He will push any QB on our roster right now. Very smart kid and very accurate. I'm sure he would learn the offense very quickly.

Many have complained about depth. Plus, most say it is hard to keep the high profile QBs from transferring if they don't start. If they can coach him up, this type of player could be a very good emergency back up.

His arm is pretty weak, but if you have the football IQ and accuracy you can play at any college level. LSU does need depth.

Would be pretty cool to watch this guy progress and stick with it all the way through and end up being someone who could contribute his senior year.

Looks like offers were mostly smaller schools - Buffalo, FIU, Ohio...

There was another pro-style QB that came out of Florida back in 2009 that had a less than impressive offer list......UCF, Colorado State, Purdue, Western Kentucky and Tulane. That was it.

You never know

I'm sure he will get enough scholarships to play here for free if he has a 32 on his act

The magic number is 33 (or 1440 SAT). That will get you full tuition and on-campus room and board.

Not saying they're the same player, but this describes Danny Wuerffel perfectly.

I thought of Wuerffel when I watched his film but he reminds me of a weaker armed Kellen Moore.

I am with you on this. Has been said often that we don't need the most athletic quarterback, we need a smart quarterback who can learn the offense and will make good decisions. Not saying he is the one but compared to what is there now, can't hurt to try.

Anyone know what the connection was? And how does he compare to Brandon Begeron?
