Convenience wise, it's awesome. I love not having to take your skis off, carry them for the 10 or 15 min to the car at most slopes then drive back to the hotel everyday. Price wise, they're usually much more expensive. So it's all about what you prefer.

All ski towns have shuttles running around town. I would prefer to save the money and take a 5-10 minute shuttle ride to and from the resort, but that's just me
