The ones I get shrink or look like crap after a couple of washes.

LL Bean Wicked Good Flannel Shirt

Best flannel shirt I have ever bought. Not too thick, but really warm. They hold up real well after several years of washing.

A lot of flannel you get at stores isn't true flannel texture.

That being said...Haband.

I've been wearing flannel since high schook before hipster revolution.

For all around quality and bang for your buck I'd pick Orvis. Filson and Woolrich if you're a real OT baller.

Duluth Trading has been all over my TV, but it looks like they're for fatties.

Maybe not the best, but the Bass Pro Shop brand makes a flannel that still looks fresh after getting it for Christmas last year. Great price too.

I personally like Woolrich the best. Pendleton is also good as is Orvis. I used to live in both Oregon and Washington where I wore flannel a lot - not much need here in LA.
