The Arizona Republic reports the Cardinals have decided to bench Logan Thomas, and will go with Ryan Lindley for Sunday's finale against the 49ers. Thomas' tenure under center is over before it even began. Per AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban, the decision comes after the fourth-round rookie was "seriously shaky" in practice. It's a bit of a surprise after Lindley was an utter nightmare in last week's loss, but coach Bruce Arians must have been confident Thomas would be even worse. It's still possible Thomas could see action off the bench. The Cardinals will be in major trouble if Drew Stanton (knee) isn't ready for the postseason.

Dumpster fire.

Shold make a push for Warner, imo. Warner in a wheelchair > Lindley.

I honestly can't believe Logan was even drafted, let alone starting an NFL game his rookie year

Not a Logan Thomas fan, but he can't play any worse than the qb last week

Have you ever seen Logan Thomas play in college?

This game doesn't matter for AZ unless the Rams beat the Seahawks in Seattle and that isn't happening. I thought it was dumb to play Thomas anyways, he would get any confidence he had left beaten out of him. If the Cards were smart they would just rest everyone this week, treat it almost like a bye week, and go into the playoffs with everyone rested and Stanton at QB. If they did that they will be just fine!

The Falcons/Panthers winner could seriously win a playoff game at this rate. Atlanta handled them a few weeks ago.

Is Jeff Garcia available? The QB situation in Arizona is ridiculous. They HAVE to draft a future QB in 2015 IMO.

I remember that Monday night game last year when he started for the Vikings. It was seriously the worst QB performance I have ever seen. Some of his passes made me cackle they were so bad. Looked like a high schooler out there.

Jared Lorenzen offered his services. He's not mobile but he could block for himself.

Nevermind, he's apparently healed.

Logan Thomas was the worst draft pick made in 2014 from a value standpoint.
