Baked after brining for 24-36 hours. 500 degrees for half an hour then 350 for 2.5 hours with aluminum foil over the breast. I've done it the last 4 Thanksgivings while my cousin brings a fried turkey. Mine wins every time, never any left.

I was at someone's house and they did both a fried and baked and I got to try them both side by side. It wasn't even close. The fried won out hands down.

Me, I like to smoke mine.

I loathe fried turkey. It reeks of desperation. It's borderline disgusting, and 9 times out of 10 a salty mess. Why mess with perfection? A baked turkey, done right is the greatest bird on the planet. I will never understand fried turkey.
