I don't keep up with shoes so forgive my ignorance, if they've already come out with Jordans up to 13 (and possibly beyond, idk) what is the deal with the 11s in the OP? Is this some sort of re-release, or is it #11 of a different line?

Original 11's were released back in 1995~1996. They were sold out right away because Jordans were so popular back then.
They re-release popular Retro Jordans like every 5 years or something like that. Of course, people camp out to buy them and they get sold out in hours.
Detroit teen shot because someone allegedly wanted his Air Jordan sneakers. Coleman worked hard and saved $410 to buy a pair of Air Jordan Retro basketball shoes.

11 is the line.
Like my favorite line is called "Air Max 95" because they are the 1995 style.
So the 11's all look the same, but some will have new colors or fabric or soles.
and for that Jordan-nuts will shell out $225 for them..
