Agreed, very nice conditions. I thought for sure that today was the day. No dice though, back at home thawing my toes.

Somewhat good news, saw hog tracks all around the snares. None caught but at least we know they're there and the traps are in the right spot.

Wick, I saw a bunch of woodcock on new club . I would love to scare up a guest button and you could bring your dogs. I think I know where they were flying from and will try to walk a few up next trip

A guy at our lease got a decent 4 point in front of the dogs from his new hunting chair.

Pretty nice set up IMO.

Another bad phone call this morning around 8. Done told the family to climb in bed and stay there till after the first of the year.

Was hunting when I got the call. My daughter again crying. WTF? She came to the house to see her son before going back to the hospital. Well, sure as shite, my old dog loves laying in the driveway. he got up for her and she though he was out the way. Nope. She ran him over.

Well, she had to get to the hospital and called a coworker, then called me. Hauled arse to the house and it looked like the dog was fine. Brought him to there office and he checked out ok. That dog has more lives then a cat.

Now, a update on SIL. Things are looking real good for him. They took him out of ICU and started patching up everything else. At this time, they going to hold off any surgery on his right ankle. The even think that it will heal ok.
I want to thank each and everyone for the thoughs and prays.

Bad thing was I had pigs all to the north of me and all kinds of deer to the south when I got the call. Ever hear a duck call in the middle of the woods? Forgot to turn down the ringer on my phone.

Just got a call from my daughter. Doctors told her if SIL keeps improving thru the night, there is a good chance he will be discharged tomorrow.

Does it make anyone else's day to see a mosquito faceplant into a plexiglass window to a box stand?
