Do you have a link to something supporting that that isn't attributed to NYPD statements? Everything I've seen says the police were responding to call about a fight, a fight Garner allegedly helped break up, and a fight where the participants fled the scene as police started arriving.

And why do you discount records of calls to police from businesses on the street? They had called the police dozens of other times about this same man doing this same thing. Why do you discount THIS account?
