Are you supposed to sign them like we used to have to do? Thanks.

I do. Signature needs to run off the stamp and onto the paper at some point to show it's all done together.

I have duck stamps dating back to the mid-1970s. I always hated to sign them since I felt like it ruined them. And I am too cheap to buy two stamps and keeping an unsigned one for my collection.

Thanks. Mine is on a lifetime card so it was not done at the same time.

I sign mine but don't peel and stick it on the license...just keep them together...been checked but never had a problem...

I sign mine as small as possible in the most insignificant place possible.
Don't know why. I loose them at some point in the summer anyway.

Did anyone else get a second stamp in the mail? My dad and little sister did. They got a liscence and both stamps. He also bought one for me. I have a lifetime so they didn't get any info for me. But, they each received one about two weeks after in the mail. Any ideas as to why?

Yep, supposed to sign across the face....I have been scolded, but never ticketed, though. Press your luck long enough and you probably would, though...

3 friends got $225 tickets for stamp not being signed last weekend.

Yep. Came in surprisingly fast considering I haven't gotten an online-purchased hunting license in the mail for 3 years.

did they actually get a stamp when they purchased license? my son ordered one online or over the phone and got a temporary number and then the actual stamp was mailed.

I ordered mine online after Walmart told me they don't have physical stamps. I think the post office only had the actual stamps in hand? Received a number good for 45 days. Stamp came in around 10 days after ordered.

Just talked to my dad again and he bought it at academy. They did not give him a hard copy stamp so that's why it was mailed to them. It just printed out on the liscence that they had purchased the federal stamp.
