Good for you. And it's amazing what arthroscopic surgery can do.

When I had my left medial meniscus removed after graduating from HS in 1969, I was in the hospital for 3 days; was in a full length restraint for 6 weeks on crutches; and then a cane for a few more weeks while I did physical therapy.

Now folks can walk out after arthroscopy.

Enjoy being pampered, 91! Get well soon.

Damn Iona 3 days??? Doc 12 years ago bad me walking that day. This doc (a former LSU offensive lineman) has me wrapped up looking like something awful happened. No walking 48 hours . And I have to admit once I knew I was ok, busting my rear was pretty funny.

Hopefully I'll be on to at least run/walk my half marathon in march.

Merry Christmas Iona!!
