Why do some atheists get their jimmies rustled by religious displays
Its not the display, its the arrogant entitlement Christians feel they possess when it comes to their exclusive rights to put religious items on state property. only to become offended when another religion wants to take advantage of any laws allowing it.
The Satanist in Florida gave the invocation at a city board meeting because a new law invited religion into the board room...
The Christians on the board being the arrogant, self righteous hypocrits they are walked out of the room....why because the new law couldnt keep the satanist out and their presence there offended the 'truly' pious.

You know these people personally? How do you know they are arrogant or pious?
You are allowed to be offended by Christian religious expression, but Christians can't be offended by yours? Once again many of these groups are choosing to mock traditions of other groups with displays of their own when the local government rightly allows everyone to participate. It's not genuine; it is simply childish.
Let's look at this in a hypothetical non religious context. My town puts on a free concert that only displays country artists in an area where that type of music is most popular. I hate that type of music and choose not to go. Should I really just be offended and demand that the city also play jazz music at the concert? Even though traditionally most people in that town do not appreciate jazz music? After all they did use tax dollars to put on a show for people to electively attend.
