I'm not sure this helps your case. If the state of Michigan is so barren, how can MSU be a top 10 team?

Maybe the state of Michigan can support one quality team, but it's no longer UM?

Or its only now capable of supporting 1 program instead of supplementing a couple before. Mich St. is top 10 this year, but still not exactly a top 10 program. Maybe top 20? I know Dantonio makes top 5 money.
