UP is one of the best animated movies ever made. Opening scene gets to me every time.

ETA: Me and my 3 & 6 year old had the "death" and "why do people die?" conversation when we watched that movie.
The 6 year old had already had a dog die, but was a totally new concept for the other one. Hated spoiling that innocence in them, but it was a good opportunity, and backdrop, for that talk.

Only other movie that I can think of is Saving Private Ryan.
