Sunderland is not where Jozy needs to be
Did you see his whiff and slip over the weekend? He's in his own head way too much.

Werner Bremen is second to bottom of the table. No thanks. Go to Lille.

Jozy is a physically gifted, technically limited striker. In a physical league like the Prem, where his strength is matched by most solid defenders, he's going to have to be on his best technical day to make a difference.
Back to goal, he's pretty damn good. Facing goal, he doesn't offer a ton. He's his best in the USMNT when he either gets the ball back to goal, holds it up, and allows the defense to push up, or when he drags a defender wide and cuts back in.
I don't know why people feel Jozy needs to succeed in the EPL. He needs to go somewhere and score goals. I don't really care where. MLS, Holland, wherever. He needs to be happy and scoring goals. When he's confident, his techincal play improves tremendously, but he's not consistent there, because, quite frankly, he's about five years behind his European peers in development, because of what he grew up with vs. what they grew up with.
Just go somewhere you're a regular, where you're wanted, and where you can score goals, Jozy. It doesn't have to be the Prem, or England at all. Holland's fine; America's fine; anywhere is fine. Just get your form and confidence and consistency going so you can develop instead of stagnating on the bench.
