BYU went Indy 3 years ago and they are in complete control they're sitting pretty.

BYU wants in the big XII. the only reason they won't is because the big XII won't allow BYU to only join in football. BYU won't compete in any type of competition on Sundays all the way down to spelling bees. The big XII along with most major universities have a lot of events on Sundays.
BYU is not a major cash cow as far as TV goes.
