Take them for what you will but, let's face it, you don't want to put these numbers next to other guys making around his salary.
You can argue that overall, he's a good coach, but that he's rough on offenses seems to be sort of obvious. ESPECIALLY as time progressed.
2005 3rd
2006 2nd
2007 1st
2008 5th
2009 11th
2010 11th
2011 4th
2012 10th
2013 7th
2014 11th

Using this argument, the 2007 offense was better than the 2013 quad. If you got to pick, which one would you rather have?

2008 and all those Pick 6's scarred Les

Nationally our 5 year average is 74.

So in 6 out of 10 years, the offense has been in the top half of the conference?

QB has been an issue.
1. QB Recruiting: you can't say they haven't been trying, but there just has been nothing in this department. I haven't given up on brandon harris, but still from RP to brandon harris we had a lot of busts and misses. We need to get a guy every year who is willing to sit 2 years before he starts. That is the only way to have consistency at the position.
2. QB development.
Crowton sucked at it, Krag probably wasn't 100% and Stud was an Oline guy. I am definitely not willing to give up Cam.
I think Eventually Cam will bring stability to the position.

The main point you make is sound.
First: We have the #1 ranked Highest paid total coaching staff in the nation and are #74 nationally in offense for the last 5 years.
Second: The trends are not up and in a positive direction. Not Wins, total offense, nothing.
Conclusion: Something has to change. We cannot continue to do the same things and expect different results. What's also adding to the frustration is seeing other programs that are improving and trending in the right direction such as Miss. St. Ole Miss, etc. and we seem to be treading water at best.

By the way. I would like to point out that I said way back in 2011-2012 that his handling of that situation was so darned egregiously bad and shitty that it may well lead to us having issues at that position going forward. That some kids would most certainly take a peek at that and blink on the recruiting trail and that opposing coaches would absolutely use it against us on the trail.
Now. One will never prove causation but, apparently, in the time since then, we managed to recruit so damned badly that the best thing we have to roll onto the field right now is arguably the worst QB in major college football.
Just sayin.......

I am not a miles hater but very disappointed with his failure to play the best he has. Welter. J J and A J are perfect examples
He refuses to use common sense. And if u think he is a great coach. I value your opinion. But????

Some of this could be the Perrilloux effect. Notice how well we did first year of Crowton, first year of Stud and first year of Cam... Something happens between year one and year two with Les and the OC's... "I'm thinking we need to make a few adjustments this year..."

Is this accurate?
The JJ/JL show in 2011 was the 4th best offense in the SEC that year? Hard to believe

These are scoring offenses, which don't necessarily tell the whole story.
For example, in 2011, LSU was 86th in total offense nationally, 6th in the SEC, and only 3 SEC teams were in the top 73 on offense that season.
Everyone with a brain knows how horrible SEC defenses were last year. It wasn't a fluke that everyone in the SEC had pretty damn good offenses, and LSU still only managed middle of the road, yet everyone slobbers over last year's offense.
But yeah, he's great overall.

or the 100000th time. Lsu doesnt run a hurry up. Yards per play and points per play are afar better indication of an offenses success. 2005, 2006,2007,2011,2013 our offense was fine.

4 of the last 6 years are close to bottom of the SEC - 2 other years in middle of SEC
Coincidence that AL is playing for 4 of the last 6 national championships while we have 4 of the last 6 bottom dwellars on offense in the SEC??
