247I know we offered him and quite a few on here said that they thought he was a take and that he would commit soon. I see now that he is committed to TCU. Is this just a case of having guys higher up on the board than him or did he just rather TCU?

With Toliver, Cutrer, Jackson, and Lewis coming in this class, and the monster class that will be pulled in next year, he probably figured he would see the field easier at TCU.
I'd say he made a good decision

To be fair (and I am a LSU grad), he will get a much better education (in general) and his scholarship is more valuable. $51,000 per year at TCU for tuition, room, and board.
Wish him the best at TCU

it will be much higher for out of state students, dont look at tuition and think it correlates to the academic level of the school

Can't sign every highly rated DB. More concerned with QB and LB.

95% of these kids don't take advantage of that.
Don't associate tuition prices (especially at these Texas private schools) with the quality of education.

He was kind of on the backburner at LSU and since TCU came with the offer it made the decision easier rather than waiting on LSU
Not a bad defense to play in, they had several LA guys over there too from West Monroe

And if he has dreams of playing in the NFL one day, how much more valuable is the coaching he will get at TCU or DBU?

I wish LSU could have gotten him, but I think both parties are fine with him at TCU. I wish him the best and a bright future.

Don't you know, any kid that doesn't commit to LSU, LSU didn't really want!!
But forreal tho, he preferred TCU over LSU. LSU wanted him bad, but I wouldn't doubt if the bad blood with his brother and lsu that may have had some influence. Couldn't have helped lsu.
