This game will be won and lost for Ohio State on third downs. We will be conservative (I would assume) and picking up those 3rd and mediums will be the tell tale sign for this offense. Cardale will have to make a few accurate throws and use his size to get a tough three yards a few times.

On the flip side, Ohio State will need to get crucial 3rd and short stops against the best player in the country, Melvin Gordon III.

That and turnovers for Ohio State.

If we have a -1, 0 or positive turnover margin, I think Ohio State has a great chance.

Those are my two keys to today.

I think they should come out conservative the first offensive series. And then take a deep shot the next. If it connects, Cardale is going to have all the confidence in the world.
