They really haven't been moving at a quick pace with their search.

A) They fired their coach 4 days ago. Regular companies don't replace personel that quick. A major university with any sense doesn't replace a head coach quickly unless it was in the works prior to the firing of the previous coach. Quick decisions have a tendency to bite back hard.
B) You don't have insider info, so you don't know what their pace has been.

Thanks for the lesson dad

He asked why an oc coming off a lousy season hasn't been mentioned in the first few days of a major coaching search. Not hard to see the point I was getting at

They have been preparing for this for months. They know who they're after... Won't take long to get a YES.

While you are correct, I'm thinking the powers that be at Mich. had a real good idea what was going down at lease a few weeks before it did. I'm also thinking that good ADs probably have a list of replacements they might be interested in for every sport in their wallet or in their mind.

Shouldn't take Mich. long unless they are waiting for this weekends games to get done.

If it drags on past this weekend, they might be having problems getting the guy they want. imo

Do tell us genius, what the difference is between Florida and Nebraska and Michigan? I guarantee you that UM knew Hoke was gone before Nebraska and UF had made their decisions on Pellini and Muschamp.
