Breathing at night is definitely the biggest concern. It's just hard to put her down and relax.

It's so erratic. But everyone told me it was normal.

I actually think that 90% of what made those early nights with my kids so hard was my fear of SIDS. Initially we had them sleeping in a crib in our bedroom with us and I was constantly jumping up in the middle of the night to make sure they were still breathing.

Once we moved them into their own rooms I could at least check the video baby monitor to look for their chest rising but I was still getting very broken sleep. Mix that in with them waking up to feed and my wife and I were constantly exhausted.

I know everyone says this and it's become a cliche, but despite all of that I do miss them being that age where I can hold the entirety of them in one arm. Now at 3 & 4 I can hardly get them to stay still long enough for a hug.

I'm glad she's doing better. I know it's challenging even without the issues y'all have gone through.
