Bc quite simply he isnt qualified to be lsu's HC

not sure what more he could do to become qualified...you think no head coaches start out as coordinators?

Cameron has been a HC in college and the NFL.

Lou Holtz as AD would inspire more confidence than Joe Alleva would.

No he didnt.

Mett was and is a stud. In fact he regressed his first year here under Cam's idiotic tutelage.

I mean shite, to win 10 games he needs 4 NFL starters on his offense to play against college teams.

I feel like we could do better for a HC, though. I'm not completely sold but I wouldn't cry over this. We have a shitload of talent next year so if he can't succeed then, I'd be worried.

go look at the stats. Our d played well comparatively to the rest of the SEC last year.

We still lost 3 games.

Mett had turned the corner in the tail end of 2012. It wasn't like he sucked all 2012 and magically turned amazing.

Our WRs actually learned how to catch a ball given that Landry and Beckham had tons of drops in 2012.

We also had Hill emerge as our running back at the tail end of 2012 and then for most of 2013. It's not a coincidence that the offense then took off.

Cameron is a good OC perhaps, but he gets wayyyyy too much credit for the offensive development and especially QB development last year.

Cam isn't the guy. Had Les retired 3-4 years down the road and LSU had continued success under Cam offensively, yes the move is probably made then.

Ao much so that even though he was eligible for a ring...Flacco petitioned for him not to get one.

Colin Cowherd knows about football like dgnx6 knows about changing a tire or how to pop her hood.

This is the problem with some of you....

You assume because we had studs running over through and around people, BECAUSE THEY WERE SIMPLY THAT MUCH BETTER, that somehow it was the result of "Cam".

you keep saying this, where did you get this from? Flacco is not the emotionally vindictive type of guy that would go out of his way to dick someone over.

Cameron gets Super Bowl ring

Flacco stunned by Cameron's dismissal

quote:

Joe Flacco acknowledged that he and the Ravens offense haven’t performed up to expectations Monday, but he still didn’t anticipate former offensive coordinator Cam Cameron being dismissed.

“I was definitely stunned to hear the news,” Flacco said.

Head Coach John Harbaugh called Flacco early Monday morning after the Ravens parted ways with Cameron. The quarterback came into the Under Armour Performance Center to discuss the move with Harbaugh and new Offensive Coordinator Jim Caldwell.

Afterwards, Flacco called Cameron and the two had a good, very “natural” conversation, according to the quarterback. Flacco said Cameron “is at peace” with the change and that too much has been made of perceived friction between he and Cameron.

“Listen, Cam has done so much for my career,” Flacco said. “He brought me here and trusted to bring me here, first of all. He’s just helped me every year I’ve been here. I’ll never forget that. He’s been great for me.”

Flacco has played under Cameron since he came into the league in 2008 as a first-round pick out of small-school Delaware. Since then, Flacco has won the most games of any quarterback in his first four years in NFL history and gone to the playoffs every season.

Cameron was largely the man put in charge of overseeing Flacco’s development, and was his quarterbacks coach last season.

But the results weren’t good enough, prompting the move.
