I have a female, they are great dogs, but mine is not the super active dog everyone makes them out to be. Yeah she is very athletic and super fast but would just as soon lay around. She is very smart and surprisingly protective. She loves to ride, I had her in the truck one day and a guy walks up to the truck to look at her and she came unglued. No doubt if he had stuck his hand in that truck she would have bit him.

I went through the Blue Lacy forum to get her from a breeder 2 hrs west of Dallas. There is a breeder in Mississippi that produces lots of blood dogs.

Mine is pregnant by a BMC, really interested to see how these puppies turn out. If any one wants one let me know I will have plenty.

Let me know when they pop out.

Did you purposefully breed her with the BMC or was it just one of those things?

I know some guys that have made this cross for Hog dogs. Supposed to be a pretty good cross. Let us know when the puppies get here. Might be worth my drive to Farmerville to take a look!
