Shut up dude you don't know that and stop acting like Chavis is so great we run a basic D... We just have above average talent year after year after year.... I'm so sick of the coaches getting the credit for everything... in my opinion all they do is call the plays this guys will be great no matter who is the coach

It's a tricky situation. Chavis only has so many years left as is and he doesn't recruit. If you could find someone young who is a decent D coordinator and can recruit, it may fill some of the recruiting void that will be there when Les/FW leave.

Of course he is. This is the dream coaching job he has always never wanted.

Moffitt is a strength and conditioning coach! That's a tad bit different than a OC, DC, or positions coach!

I would typically agree with you but if Miles were to leave I think Cameron would be offered the head coaching job and would try to retain Chavis as the DC.

Even if this were to happen, there are two former "great" LSU D-Coordinators that just recently became unemployed. I think it wouldn't be to difficult to pick one of them up.

One of the reasons Michigan couldn't get Less is his staff demands, Chavis.

But, on the flip side of that coin, our O is why we lost 4.

Oh yeah I forgot just how dominant LSU's D was against MSU and AU.

Idiot.

Most decent D coaches would look good with all the elite talent we have in this state. If we lose Chavis, he can be replaced without it being the end of the world.

Again, Dinardo, Hall, Archer. Elite talent doesn't mean anything if you don't know how to recruit it or use it. It really takes a lot more effort and attention than you think.

Our QB issues have always had a checkered past even with Saban and before him. Be careful what you wish for....

So no more 3rd-and-Chavis or our vaunted Prevent D?.....I can live with it.

Yea I would think Chavis, Cam, Frank Wilson and others would all leave if a new coach comes in

in that case, we would be fricked.
