It looks like the Ragin' Cajuns will be playing in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl for a fourth straight year.

Our TV partner KLFY is reporting that UL will return to the Superdome for this year's matchup with a yet-to-be-determined team.

The New Orleans Bowl, which normally pits a Sun Belt team vs. a Conference USA team, has a contract this year with the Mountain West to supply a team rather than C-USA. Leading contenders for a Ragin' Cajun opponent – something that might not be decided until Sunday – include 7-5 Nevada, 9-4 Utah State and 7-5 Rice.

Smart money move. I know tons of people, my family included, who have already booked their rooms.

I know the typical northern schools are going to hate.... but I don't care who you are, that is a fun time to be in New Orleans. Every game has been exciting and it's a very fun atmosphere. If you have the chance to make it I would recommend it. Fun times.
Also the Saints play the falcons the next day so it will make for a fun weekend

Props on making it this year. ULL should have gone to Independence last year instead. Now Nola bowl will be looking for any team except you next year.

The bowl better pray Rice accepts the invite, as neither of the other two schools will bring more than a few thousand fans. Rice, too, however, has a small fan base.

I've heard that their fans boil crabs and fry fish in the hotel rooms, and keep live seafood in the bathtubs.
