Who are you voting for here? I've seen some pretty crazy attack ads coming from both sides. Would like to find some factual information on both candidates.

I went with Skrmetta. My dad's dealth with Wright in the past and said he was corrupt as the day is long and in bed with the enviros. No thank you.

This is what it seems like especially seeing the commercial that says he swicthed from D to R just before the election and he always has solar power in his own ads. Was also funny to see the picture of him with long hair kinda looking like a hippy.

Think I'm going Skrmetta today.

Wright is a lying SOB.
Posted on 12/6/14 at 8:49 am to Tigerstudent08
Neither....but Wright is a liberal tree hugging enviro loon.

Solar Companies are pushing Wright. I really don't give a shite, but someone that has to repeat he's a "good Republican" over and over is probably not a "good Republican".

Dude's only a Republican for this race. He believes the Obama Administration mantra and oil & gas and coal companies should be shut down.

Wright is the clear choice:
- If you want net neutrality, go with Wright
- If you want energy choices, go with Wright
- Skrmetta was previously a democrat (LINK )
- Nola.com and The Gambit both endorsed Wright
- Skrmetta is wholly bought out by every single group he is supposed to regulate: LINK
Louisiana's rates are low because energy is cheap in LA. Fees and bills are higb because Skrmetta voted them to be that way:

If this was a lying/corruption race, Skrmetta would win a landslide

I would vote for Skrmetta if I could. All the Mary voters love Wright

Wright was a D until May 2014. Got my answer.

100% Wright. I wouldn't vote for Skrmetta don't trust him at all in his ability to regulate those he has been in charge of regulating.

Well, that's unfortunate. I'm going Skrmetta now.
Oh, and btw, welcome to the board Forrest.

I am clearly not Forest, I would imagine that guy has more important things to do right now than be on TD.
I voted for Leone in November, and the more I have read about Skrmetta, the more strongly I have felt to try and get rid of him.
Neither option is great, but Wright >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Skrmetta.

I voted for Wright in November, but the more I've researched the more clear I am that I'll switch to Skrmetta.
I was joking about you being Forrest, but based on the facts that you just joined 3days ago and all of your posts are in support of Wright, you're probably a minion in his campaign.

Despite what you have read from Skrmetta, he will cost you money in the long run by killing the solar market in Louisiana and hiding behind low rates by introducing massive fees.
Residential solar installations are a net positive for every single consumer currently: LINK /
That study in MS shows that it is a net benefit. MS has a similar energy profile as LA, and Entergy operates there too.
The LA solar market, all those companies, and all those good American family jobs will end if Skrmetta has his way.
Full disclosure, I was a minion for Leone but now with him out and knowing that Leone and Wright both support the platform to rid regulated companies from being able to donate to campaigns, I have decided to push for Wright.
