Saturday afternoon when I get back from the blind I am going to take the gf out and try to catch some flounder before the temperature drops again. We're on the east side of the lake.

I have two places in mind and they are listed in preferred order:

1. West bank of the ship canal above the ferry
2. The weirs

The tide is going to start running out around noon. Where would you OB Big Lake expert guides fish?

It's definitely on the very tail end from what I've heard. Although this year was awesome

That's where I've caught them in November before.

east side

1. Little cove and inlet north of Hebert's
2. East bank to the south of Turner's Bay. Used to be a kayak launch there but it's closed.

Basically anywhere you might find water coming out of the marsh.

serious question: how does one target flounder? I always catch them incidentally.
