I was glad to see Rick cap the cop...I wasn't sure he was going to, but then badass Rick emerged and took over. Though, to be honest, I thought he was gonna let the walkers walk up and get him.

beth's blood is on the hands of tyreese. Like some said though, they should not have even entertained letting her take everybody hates chris back. Those cops would not have gotten into a shootout for him.
I guess rick figured if he went with them he was dead anyway due to the black male quota already being filled.

Nah, Rick was gonna let him go to save Tyreese. I've got bad news for both Noah and Tyreese though, Morgan is the true Black Highlander.

He is a great character and actor, and hasn't even had probably 30 minutes of screen time.

Was talking to someone earlier that watched last night and said it was maybe his 2nd or 3rd episode watched. He asked if I was shocked/sad that beth got killed (he knew it was a big deal because his son was shocked). I said, “you know, I didn’t think it was that big of a deal, it was semi-shocking but you knew someone would die. “
So I decided to make a list/grouping from “HOLY shite” to “meh” of characters getting knocked off.
Tier 1
Rick (no doubt a group by himself)
Tier 2 (would be highly shocked
Daryl
Carol
Tier 3 (would be shocked, they bring a lot to the show)

I think I’m good with moving anyone other than rick up or down a group. Abraham can definitely move himself up if he becomes involved now that he’ll have a new mission. I don’t see him climbing past 4, though.

I think Beth's death kicks maggie up a tier or two. She is the last of the farm family and I think there is more to her story now than Glen. Of course Glen may be safer now since she lost Beth. Unless they are going to make Maggie one hell of a tragic person, which is possible with this show. But I do think Beth's death makes Maggie pretty dang safe.

He said he had to see for himself. He was referring to the story told about the Terminus people and what they did to Bob. I think he was still trying to deal with the fact that Ricks group, in his mind, murdered them. Seeing the foot story was true convinced him that Gareths group was evil and Ricks group was being legit in their handling of it.
