I'm just glad the aliens chose the white man to give the high tech stuff to.

Plenty of undeveloped societies in the pacific islands and Africa, and really all around the world. To say they would be the most uncivilized society on Earth today, when looking at what they had already accomplished 500 years ago is pretty far off IMO.

If you want to get particular, yes there are many tribes throughout the pacific islands, South America, Africa, Australia, Asia that lag behind them still.
Even if not, using societies that today are more advanced than what they were 500 YEARS AGO, is very shortsighted IMO. We're talking about what they would be like today, not how they were 500 years ago.

Europeans stayed home and the Natives been left to their own devices way back when. What would the continent be like today?
Also, some European companies would likely have very lucrative big game hunting and excursion packages to the continent. Of course they would compensate their native american employees er, partners, well in beads and such.
Mark Burnett would probably have had Survivor shows based at what we now call Key West, Galveston, Alcatraz and Aspen by now. And maybe a misguided one based someplace like Phoenix or Albuquerque.

No it would not. Africa is filled with lazy, worthless trash looking for hand outs rather than finding ways to improve their lives. The Indians were skilled hunters, good farmers, and lived by a common code. They lacked the technological advancements of the Europeans but by now I'm sure they would have gotten with the program.
