To any of you that find yourself alone today

For whatever reason by choice or not. Content with it or not. Know that you're not alone.
I understand the holidays are tough for those who have lost someone close the past year, for those gong through divorce or those that just find themselves separated by distance.
Its a day, one day enjoy it, find some peace in the solitude, find comfort in the quiet. Enjoy whatever the day has in store and know that at least I am thankful for whatever it is that you contribute to this site.
And that in some odd and disturbing way is part of our lives and makes each of us part of one another lives as well.

My secretary's second marriage just went down the tubes, her parents can't take of themselves -- she has like eight siblings, only one of whom helps out with the parents, and that sibling is disabled.
