Unless you want to cheer for Bama every program has down years. Like i said earlier in all of cfb there are only 4 teams that have won 9 games the last 5 years and lsu is one of them. This is the second time in miles tenure that we have lost back to back games.miles has earned the right to bring us back. Also lsu will win at least 1 of the remaining 2 games. Shouldnt it be noted that even our down year is 8 wins while playing in the hardest division that cfb has ever seen?

I always loved Cholly Mac. As the energy left his coaching and football passed him by, his supporters always looked at the body of his work and defended his right to "bring LSU back." But that didn't happen. Of course, that was a different time.

Now we're in a similar situation. I do truly like CLM as a person and do salute his many achievements over the past 10 years. He has surpassed my expectations in some ways. But he also hit far lower points than I would have expected, and IMO has failed to even maintain the energy of the LSU teams he fielded earlier in his tenure. Since you made no comment on the numbers of regression I previously posted, I assume you aren't going to argue those facts.

So let's go back to sentiment. CLM has "earned the right" to bring LSU back? Ok. How long does he get that blank check? Cholly Mac had an unhappy few last years as his opponents and supporters fought tooth and nail over the same thing. LSU did not rise to some new heights and it was clear, in the end, that the energy was gone.

People with eyes to see today should be instructed.
