Give me your honest opinion on who should start vs a&m. I personally say that B. Harris should start, better @ passing and making the ball down the field!

Harris should at least play and be given an equal chance.

Jennings to start with Harris coming off the bench.

You understand why I think this is a dumb statement, right?

Wouldn't matter. LSU has real coaching problems.

you are entitle to your opinion, I may think the same of yours.

...but on THE ONE START he did not look good.
and this is a reality..some young QBs do better off the bench..less pressure ???

At this point, it's not about beating aTm. This is a good opportunity to get Harris ready for next year. An extra week to prepare and aTm doesn't exactly have the best defense in the conference.

I totally agree, just that I would lower expectation and pressure by having him come off the bench and not start on the 1st series

Les doesn't quite get the whole "coming off the bench" thing...

well played.

I know he'll never play, but I wonder what kind of mechanics he has. Actually. He has played a few snaps this year. Did he throw a pass?

If its me. I sit both down and tell them both of you are going to play. If Jennings has lost any confidence I don't think it can be hurt anymore. SO I give him the start not so much that he has earned it but for no other reason than to keep the pressure off of Harris. 3rd series or so I put Harris in. The key to all of this is I don't put handcuffs on Harris. Let the kid play with the entire playbook. You will never know what you have if you hold him back.

Yes, hes 1 for 1 for 11 yards. Statistically, he is the front runner out of LSU qbs.
