TCU switched to an entirely different system. They changed to an air raid and got the guy from Houston. The dramatic fall of Houston's QB from last year to this year and rise of Boykin from last year to this year, is astonishing.

John O'Korn
2013 - true freshman 259/446 (58%) 3117 yards 28 TDs 10 ints (started 13 games)

2014 - sophomore 89/172 (51.7%) 944 yards 6 TDs 8 ints, (benched after 5 games)

Trevone Boykin
2013 - sophomore 105/176 (59.7%) 1198 yards 7 TDs 7 ints, 105 car 313 rush yards 7 TDs, 26 rec 204 yards (5 starts played significantly in two other games at QB and RB/WR the other 6)

2014 - junior 229/386 (59.3%) 3024 yards 24 TDs 5 ints, 122 car 548 yards 7 TDs (started and only played 10 games)

TCU brought in an air-raid style offense this year. Shockingly enough, it really opened up the offense and Boykin has looked very good running it this year.

Kind of reminds me of the second half against Wisc when we spread the field...or when Harris came in against NMSU, or when Harris came in against Miss St.......................food for thought
